Return Policy

Our Return Policy is not fixed at a certain number of days for all items, but rather, it varies from item-to-item based on the specific details associated with that item. Please be sure to check the Return Policy for a given item on the Product Page for that item on this website.

To be eligible for ANY return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete a return, we require a receipt or other proof of purchase.

Please do not send an item back to the manufacturer for any reason without first receiving express authorization in writing or email from Coyote Sound. In many cases, if an item is damaged or is in need of service we can arrange to have it repaired by TDSS or another factory authorized service affiliate located here in the USA. This requirement is to protect you, the customer as well as Coyote Sound, because doing so typically results in a faster turn-around, lower shipping costs and less risk of an item being lost or damaged in transit. In many cases the manufacturer is located overseas, and it is a common fact that shipping any item to a foreign country involves far more complexity, risk of loss, and additional cost compared to shipping the same item domestically.

To return an item Coyote Sound must first be contacted so that we can evaluate the situation. Upon our discretion, if we should decide that a return is warranted we will issue a Returned Merchandize Authorization (RMA) number. Said RMA must be clearly printed on the shipping label that is affixed to the return shipment packaging. Any package that does not have the required RMA number clearly displayed and legible on the shipping label as instructed above will be rejected and sent back to the shipper – no exceptions.

Refunds:
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment and should appear posted to your account within 30-days.

Late or missing refunds:
If you do not receive a refund within 10 days, first check your account one last time before proceeding to take further action. Then contact your lending institution, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted in their system.

Sale items:
Typically, it is standard policy at Coyote Sound that sale items cannot be refunded. This includes discontinued, close-out and/or manufacturers end-run items, etc.

Custom items:
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. There is no refund option for any item that is of a custom nature, whether they are custom-built by the manufacturer at the factory, have been upgraded and/or modified by Coyote Sound at our facility, or by a third party affiliate working in association with Coyote Sound. Specifically, this includes all items that have been upgraded and/or modified by TDSS.

In most cases, such items will be provided with a full parts & labor warranty, and in many cases additional warranties in excess of those provided by the original manufacturer. Therefore, while service and repair of these items will virtually always be available and in most cases included for some period of time after the purchase date as part of the terms of sale, in no case does such a warranty imply that a refund of any amount will be provided at any time

Exchanges:

Shipping:

You will be responsible for paying all shipping costs associated with the return of an item and as such, they are non-refundable. If we do provide a refund, any costs associated with returning the item to us will not be included in the amount refunded.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a shipping service that provides the option of tracking and/or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
